Welcome to the West Hempstead Special Education Parent Teacher Association

The West Hempstead SEPTA is an organization of parents and educators who support and inform about Special Education. SEPTA is dedicated to advocating for students in our district with learning differences. We are committed to educating parents, teachers, and professionals on issues faced by our students as a result of their disability. SEPTA assists parents in advocating for their children. Joining our organization provides a greater voice for our children and their right to be educated in an environment that appropriately meets their educational needs. SEPTA is interested in providing resources for the educational needs of all children. We pride ourselves on the cooperation among our school staff, our Board of Education, and our parents.

West Hempstead is located in Nassau County on Long Island, New York. West Hempstead is a hamlet. Find us on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Hempstead,_New_York or on "the Patch" 15226|%2Bwest%20%2Bhempstead%20news||S|b|29921324968
